Description

Space artwork printed along the full length of a one inch elastic strap, from Buckle-Down. Blacks, browns and orange carry the design. The strap is elastic throughout, so it stretches with you as you move rather than staying rigid across the shoulder. Buckle-Down builds its whole range on the same basic strap, so the construction is consistent from one print to the next and only the artwork changes.

Men and women wear this one in equal measure, and it works as a conversation piece at least as much as it works as a way of holding up a pair of trousers. Parties, themed events, casual days out and costume work all suit it, and it needs no other novelty element alongside it to make the point. Worn over a plain dark shirt, the print ends up being the only thing in the outfit that has to do any real work. Three colors run through the artwork, which gives it considerably more to work with than a single tone print and keeps it interesting at close range.
